UPDATE: ONE MALE ELECTROCUTED – THREE OTHERS SUFFER ELECTRICAL SHOCK WHILE PUTTING UP LARGE TENT

Identification Confirmed

(BROOKE-ALVINSTON, ON) Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is continuing the investigation into the death of one male and electrical shock of 3 others that occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on August 1, 2013.

The deceased male has been identified as 21 year old Jeremy BOWLEY from London. The three injured males include a 23 year old from West Elgin, a 17 year old from London and a 25 year old also from London. The three injured males remain in hospital in stable condition. Two other males did not suffer any injuries.

A crew of six males working for Signature Events Rental Centre in London were putting up a large tent for a family function when the tent made contact with some hydro wires. Four of the six individuals were injured and transported to local hospitals.

A post mortem examination has been scheduled to take place today in London and the Lambton County OPP and the Ministry of Labour are continuing their investigations.
