(HAMILTON TWP, ON) –At 7:42am April 15, 2015 Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a motor vehicle collision between a motorcycle and an SUV on County Road 9 (Oak Ridges Dr) at McKinlay Rd.
The motorcyclist was transported to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are at scene assisting detachment members with the investigation.
County Road 9 remains closed to traffic between County Road 15 and County Road 18 until further notice.
Updates will be provided as information becomes available.
UPDATE: The motorcyclist has succumbed to his injuries and is deceased. The name is being withheld pending next of kin notification. All roads are now open to traffic and the matter remains under investigation.
