(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On Thursday, January 29, 2015 at approximately 10:34 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attempted to stop a pick-up truck after the driver failed to stop at a stop sign on Grey Road 124 and Collingwood Street, Singhampton, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands.
The driver of the pick-up truck failed to stop for police despite the fact the officer was operating a fully marked OPP cruiser with its emergency lights activated. The short pursuit was terminated in the interest of public safety.
The suspect vehicle was described as a white, 2014 Ford F150 pick-up truck, bearing Arizona Plate AG24205. U-Haul advertising was displayed all over the truck including a large “$19.95 rental†decal on the tailgate.
The driver and two male passengers were observed inside the vehicle. The driver was described as having bushy blonde/reddish hair. A younger male passenger was described as having dark bushy hair and wearing dark clothing. A third, older male passenger, was described as having long bushy grey hair.
