(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) -On December 28, 2013 at approximately 1:28 a.m., the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Festive R.I.D.E. team conducted a R.I.D.E. Program on Highway 7 and Woolwich-Guelph Townline, Guelph-Eramosa Township. A 2005 Mazda entered the check point and the male driver showed signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside screening device test was administered which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Tyler WHITE age 20 of Fergus has been charged with Over 80 mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 17, 2014 to answer to the charge.
