(Selwyn Township) – On Saturday November 29, 2014, at approximately 7:00 p.m. officers from the Peterborough County OPP where called to investigate a single motor vehicle collision that occurred on Selwyn Road.
Attending officers arrived to find that a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado had been traveling eastbound on Selwyn Road and lost control then slide to the north ditch of the roadway and struck a tree.
As a result of the investigation the driver, 32 year old Tyler McQUAIG of Ennismore, was arrested and charged with Impaired Operation and Having more than 80 mgs of alcohol in a 100 ml of blood.
McQUAIG was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Peterborough Provincial Courts on January 29, 2015.
