(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a serious personal injury collision on Highway 24 South at 6:06 p.m. on December 19, 2014.
A Dodge pickup truck was south bound on Highway 24 and collided head on with a north bound Ford pickup truck. The two male drivers of the pickup trucks were taken to a Hamilton area hospital in critical condition. A female passenger was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. The County of Brant Fire Department attended the scene and extricated one of the male drivers who was trapped in his pickup truck for over an hour.
Highway 24 will be closed between Vanessa Road and Jenkins Road until approximately 1:00 a.m. on December 20, 2014.
OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are currently assisting the County of Brant OPP with the investigation.
