(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Monday, July 20, 2015 at approximately 10:00 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police investigated a motor vehicle collision in front of Kettles Restaurant located on Hwy. 6 & 10 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. Three people were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Investigation revealed that a southbound 2005 Honda Civic vehicle attempted to make a left turn into the Kettles Restaurant parking lot when it was struck by a southbound 2009 Volkswagen Golf vehicle that was overtaking vehicles at the time.
The driver of the Honda, 25-year old Justin MAINPRIZE, of Owen Sound, was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for the offence of Turn Not in Safety under the Highway Traffic Act. He was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The 22-year old male Volkswagen driver and his 23-year old male passenger, both from Quebec, were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Inter-Township Fire Department and Grey County Emergency Services assisted at the scene.
