(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On March 26th, 2016 at approximately 7:00pm officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a two vehicle collision on Division Street in Quinte West.
During the investigation it determined that one of the drivers of ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
As a result 30 year old Ryan KNAPMAN of Brighton was arrested and has been charged with the following:
Refuse to Provide a Breath Sample 254 of the Criminal Code of Canada
Three counts of Failing to comply with a Court Order.
The accused is to appear at The Ontario Court of Justice 15 Bridge Street West, Belleville on March 29th, 2016.
There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
