On Saturday February 18th, 2017 at approximately 6:15 p.m. a 2001 Buick Century was south bound on 3rd Avenue West approaching 26th Street when a 2009 Dodge Caliber pulled out into its path travelling west bound on 26th Street. The 51 year old male passenger of the Buick was transported to hospital by EMS, he was treated for minor injuries and later released from hospital.
The collision resulted in severe damage to both vehicles. It was very fortunate that there were no serious injuries to the three parties involve.
Charged under the Highway Traffic Act was the 78 year old female driver of the Dodge Caliber.
