(CHATHAM-KENT, ON) On Saturday, November 9, 2013, just before 6:00 p.m., Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles on Highway 40 near Dover Centre Line.
The collision occurred when a Chrysler car traveling northbound had slowed down behind a tractor, and was struck from the rear by a Buick SUV.
The driver of the Buick, 79 year old Hazel CROWSTON from Chatham, ON, has been charged with Careless Driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
No injuries were sustained as a result of the collision.
