On September 3, 2014, at 7:12 a.m., the Guelph Police went to the Johnston Street and Beverly Street intersection to investigate a two car collision. It is alleged that a 31-year-old Guelph female was driving her 2008 Nissan northbound on Johnston and failed to stop at the stop sign. A 1997 Ford pick-up driven by a 64-year-old Guelph man that was eastbound on Beverly was struck.
The male was taken to hospital with minor injuries and the female was charged with fail to stop – stop sign under the HTA.
