On October 10, 2013 at 10:18 p.m., the Guelph Police attended to Elizabeth Street and Victoria Road for a two vehicle collision. It is alleged that a 1997 GMC Jimmy was west on Elizabeth Street and was struck while in the intersection at Victoria Road. A 2001 Pontiac Montana had been north on Victoria Road and entered the intersection against a red light.
The driver of the GMC, a 19-year-old Guelph man, was transported by EMS to Guelph General Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the Pontiac, a 23-year-old Guelph man, was not injured and has been charged with red light
