(WARWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) On November 25, 2014 around 10:00 p.m. Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a family disturbance call in the 7000 block of Birnam Line.
During the course of the investigation a 35 year old Warwick Township male became involved in a physical confrontation with the two responding officers. Subsequently the male was taken into custody and he remains in custody awaiting a Sarnia court bail appearance November 26, 2014.
The male faces charges of
1. Assault with Intention to Resist Arrest
2. Resist a Peace Officer
3. Fail to Comply with Undertaking
There is no report of injuries to the charged male however both OPP officers were injured and one of the officers went to hospital where he was treated and released.
