(North Kawartha Twp., ON) – At approximately 7:50 p.m. Peterborough County OPP were called to Highway 28 to investigate a motor vehicle being operated in an erratic manner.
Officers attended and were advised that a Black Dodge 4 door, being operated by a 27 year old male had been observed traveling on Highway 28 in an erratic manner, the vehicle was reported to have been tailgating, altering its speed and swerving within its lane.
OPP officers located the vehicle and stopped it near Eels Creek and conducted an investigation.
As a result of the investigation, 27 year old, Nicholas LANGOIS, of Essex has been charged for, Impaired Operation of a Motor vehicle, and Having Over 80 mgs of alcohol in a 100ml of Blood.
LANGOIS was released from custody with an August 19, 2013 court date set in Peterborough Courts.
