Two More Impaired Drivers Caught

(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On July 14th, 2016, at approximately 12:15am officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle on Queen Street.

During the stop it was also determined that the driver of the motor vehicle had been drinking.

Andres VELASCO-AVENDANO, 51, of Quinte West has been charged with:

Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood – Criminal Code of Canada 253(1)(b) Criminal Code of Canada

The male was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville on the 28th of July, 2016.

(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On July 14th, 2016, at approximately 3:15am officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police stopped a motor vehicle in the parking lot of the Trent Port Marina, 15 Creswell Drive, Trenton.

Following an investigation it was determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.

Shea ROBSON, 38, of Quinte West has been charged with:

Driving While Ability Impaired- motor vehicle (Alcohol) – Section 253(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada

Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood – Criminal Code of Canada 253(1)(b) Criminal Code of Canada

The male was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville on the 28th of July, 2016.
