(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Sunday March 20, 2016 at about 1:40AM a member of the Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed an older model Toyota van being operated in an erratic manner. Police conducted a traffic stop on Main Street West in the Town of Huntsville.
As a result of an investigation John McLachlan (67years) of Udora was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of blood. The accused is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Huntsville on Wednesday April 20, 2016 to answer to his charges.
On Monday March 21, 2016 at approximately 3:00AM while patrolling southbound on Highway #11 in the Town of Huntsville, a member of the Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a Chrysler Sebring being operated in an erratic manner.
The vehicle was stopped by police and the driver was found to have been drinking.
As a result of the stop Michael Claer (52 years) of Guelph was charged with having more than 80mgs of alcohol per 100mltrs of blood. The accused will appear in the Ontario court of Justice in Huntsville on Wednesday April 20, 2016 to answer to his charges.
