(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a man and women both from Brantford with possession of a schedule 2 drug under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act after a traffic stop at approximately 2:30 p.m. on 13 July 2015.
On Monday, July 13, 2015 at approximately 2:35 p.m. police observed a 2001 Chevrolet Impala on Newport Road which caught their attention. The vehicle was stopped and checked by police. Police investigators located Cannabis Marijuana and Cannabis Resin inside the vehicle.
Police have charged 59- year-old Joseph BRAY and 23-year-old Parita CHARLOUS both of Brantford, Ontario with 2 counts each of Possession of a Schedule 2 drug Contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances act.
Both parties will appear at a later date in the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford to answer to the charges.
