(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to Melissa Avenue and Maple Avenue area in the Burford for a driving complaint. Officers were advised by numerous citizens of two vehicles were squealing their tires and driving at excessive speeds.
At approximately 8:25 p.m. Friday August 16, 2013, officers attended Melissa Avenue and located the two vehicles and their drivers. While the officers were talking to the males drivers, they observed all the usual signs of impairment by alcohol. Both of the drivers were transported to Norfolk County OPP for Intoxilyzer tests.
Keith ROBBINS 42 years of age from the County of Brant is facing the following criminal charges
Impaired driving
Exceed 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol content
Assault
Michael LEFEBVRE 22 years of age from Niagara region is facing the following criminal charges
Impaired driving
Exceed 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol content
Mischief
Both accused are scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on September 13, 2013 to answer to the charges.
