(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), officers were called to assist a Conservation Officer on the Nith Road, in the County of Brant.
On October 2nd, 2014, officers were called to assist a Conservation officer who had found a vehicle a truck and trailer parked on the side of the road. Officers attended and found two males with a freshly harvested marihuana plants.
Shawn HAMMOND 39 years of age and Jay PRESTON 36 years of age from Norfolk County are facing the following criminal charges
Possession of a Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Marihuana over 30 grams
Produce a Schedule II Substance- Cannabis Marihuana
Both accused are scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford at a later date.
