Two Males Found In School After Alarm Triggered

The Owen Sound Police responded to an alarm early Saturday morning at The Owen Sound Collegiate and Vocational Institute (OSCVI). Officers arrived just prior to 3:00 a.m. to find an insecure door leading into the school and two male parties inside. These two 19 year olds quickly fled on foot leaving the school. A foot pursuit ensued with officers catching up to a very tired suspect in the area of Laurie Crescent. The second suspect was located a short time later at an eastside residence. Both males were arrested and charged with Break, Enter and Theft. The one male was also charged with being in Possession of a Controlled Substance. The two parties are to appear in May at the Owen Sound Court to answer to the charges. No damage was done to the school. The two males have never been students at the high school and have only recently taken up temporary residency in Owen Sound.
