(SUDBURY, ON) – On April 24, 2014 at approximately 8:40 a.m., officers from the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single vehicle collision on Highway 17 (Coniston area), City of Greater Sudbury.
Preliminary investigation revealed, the eastbound pick-up truck left the roadway, rolled-over and struck a rock cut.
The 32 year old female driver, from Coniston, suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile, her 4 year old son was ejected from the vehicle and suffered non-life threatening injuries. They were admitted in hospital and are listed in stable condition.
The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
