(CITY OF TEMISKAMING SHORES, ON) – On March 1, 2016 members of the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a call involving two possible impaired motorized snow vehicle (MSV) operators travelling on the snowmobile club trail in Haileybury.
Shortly before 7:00 p.m. police located the MSV’s at Morrissette Drive. Through investigation two men from Perth are facing charges.
Chad HACHBORN, 39, is charged with:
Impaired Driving – section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code
Over 80 – section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
Michael LANTZ, 51, is charged with:
Impaired Driving – section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
Over 80 – section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
Possession of a Schedule II Substance, Cannabis Resin – section 4(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Both accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Haileybury on April 19, 2016.
