Two Facing Trafficking And Weapons Charges

(PEMBROKE, ON) – On November 03, 2016 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of OPP’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on Victoria Street in the City of Pembroke. Police seized cash, weapons and drugs during the search. As a result two Pembroke men are facing charges under the CDSA and Criminal Code (CC). 47 year old Cory James NEEDHAM and 22 year old Jordan NEEDHAM are each charged with the following offences:

Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cannabis Marihuana Over 3kg

Possession of a Schedule II Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cannabis Resin under 3 kg

Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose – 2 counts each

Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon

Both men were released on a Promise To Appear and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on December 06, 2016.
