Two Extricated Following Collision On Hwy 9

(BRANT TWP, ON) – On November 12, 2019 at 2:51 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a serious 2 vehicle collision along Highway 9 in Brant Township. Officers attended with members of the Brockton Fire Department and Bruce County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to find that one of the vehicles was at rest in the ditch. Fire Fighters were called on to extricate two occupants from the vehicle. They were taken to a local hospital, and then transferred to a London hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital to have minor injuries assessed.

Highway 9 was closed between Bruce County Road 3 and Bruce County Road 12 for the safety of emergency responders. It has since re-opened to traffic.

The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) is assisting the South Bruce OPP with this investigation.
