(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On November 9, 2015 shortly after 7:30 p.m., members of the West Parry Sound Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of an aircraft going down in Seguin Township. Passing motorist on Highway 400 observed the plane go down and called 911. OPP, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Seguin Fire responded and located the crash site.
Investigation revealed that the plane had two occupants and confirmed deceased at the scene. The identities of the two persons have not been confirmed.
OPP members will continue to secure the scene until Transport Canada Safety Board attends and continues the investigation into the crash.
