(WATFORD, ON)- On April 1, 2016 members of the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Street Crime Unit, OPP West Region Emergency Response Team and OPP West Region Canine Unit executed a search warrant on a residential property on Warwick Street in the Town of Watford.
As result of an ongoing investigation and subsequent execution of said search warrant, the OPP seized several types of suspected unlawful drugs and property related to the unlawful distribution of these drugs.
Two males have been charged as a result of this search warrant:
Peter BELIK, 40 years-of-age of Watford Ontario has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in a narcotic X 5, simple possession of a narcotic X 2 and fail to comply with a recognizance.
James VANDERKANT, 43 years-of-age of Watford Ontario has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in a narcotic X 5 and simple possession of a narcotic X 2.
The OPP will continue to be vigilant in removing unlawful narcotics from the communities in which they police!
