Two Charged With Forcible Confinement And Aggravated Assault

(CALEDON, ON) – On Thursday, November 24, 2016, members of the Caledon Major Crime Unit and the Caledon Street Crime Unit, in conjunction with the Tactical Response Unit (TRU) and the Emergency Response Unit (ERT), executed a search warrant at a residence on McLaughlin Road in the Town of Caledon.

During the execution of the warrant, police located and arrested two male parties.

Emanuel Torres SODOMA, 38, of East Garafraxa Township has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Forcible Confinement and Uttering Threats.

Marco Paulo SODOMA, 41, of Brampton has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Forcible Confinement, Uttering Threats, and Overcoming Resistance.

Both parties were held in custody and are scheduled to attend a bail hearing in Orangeville Criminal Court on November 25, 2016.
