(Bancroft, Ontario) On Friday the 26th of July 2013, officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 62 in the Town of Bancroft. As a result of the stop, a male and female were charged with a drug offence. Approximately 80 grams of marihuana and 5 grams of cannabis resin were seized.
26 year old Nicole CARRIERE of Wasaga Beach, Ontario has been charged with possession of marihuana. CARRIERE was released from custody on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on the 17th of September 2013.
