(Lanark Highlands, ONTARIO) On Thursday April 28th, 2016 members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Drug Enforcement Unit and OPP Emergency Response Team executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (C.D.S.A.) Search Warrant at a residence in the Village of Lanark.
As a result of the investigation, police located and seized:
28.6 grams of cocaine
trafficking indicia, including cutting agent, digital scales and packaging materials
several cellular telephones
Thirty three (33) year old, Shawn FISHER of Lanark Highlands is charged with:
· one (1) count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking cocaine and
· four (4) counts of Failing to Comply with an Undertaking to a Judge or Justice
He was held in custody and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice, Perth on Monday May 02, 2016 for a Show Cause Hearing.
Also, thirty two (32) year old Autumn CAMERON of Lanark Highlands, was arrested and is charged with one (1) count of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking cocaine. She was released on an Officer-in-Charge Undertaking with conditions and a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Perth on Monday June 20, 2016
