(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Street Crime Unit along with the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Canine Unit and members of Norfolk County Detachment have arrested and charged a male and female with drug offences after executing a search warrant at a Queensway West, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Thursday, May 19, 2015 at approximately 7:07 a.m., members of the Norfolk County Street Crime Unit attended a Queensway West address and executed a search warrant.
During the course of the search warrant, police recovered a quantity of illicit drugs and Canadian currency.
As a result, a 41-year-old male and a 49-year-old female were taken into custody without incident.
Charged with possession of Methamphetamine is 41-year-old Michael Shawn HASKINS of Norfolk County, Ontario.
Charged with the following offences is 49-year-old Linda KRUGER of Norfolk County, Ontario.
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Heroin
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Methamphetamine
Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000
Fail to comply with conditions of undertaking given by officer in charge
Both are to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
