Two Charged In Break And Enter

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) – On January 30, 2016, the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a commercial break and enter incident.

Between approximately 3:30 a.m. and 5:15 a.m. on January 30, 2016, culprit(s) attended a property in the 6100 block of Egremont Drive. Once on the property, they trespassed, damaged a lock on a gate, and accessed the interior of a secure compound. A quantity of aluminum was stolen.

As a result of subsequent investigation, the Middlesex County OPP have charged two adults males from Sarnia, Ontario, in relation to the incident.

43-year-old David BAXTER and 26-year-old Brian RICE have each been charged with break, enter a place – commit indictable offence, and possession of property obtained by crime, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. Rice faces additional criminal charges of break, enter a place, commit indictable offence, and possession of property obtained by crime, stemming from a similar incident, which occurred on January 27, 2016.

The accuseds are scheduled to appear in a London court on March 15, 2016 to answer to the charges.
