(Essex, ON) – The Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged two area residents over the weekend for drinking and driving related offences.
Rebecca MONTAGUE, 37 years of age from Cottam was arrested approximately 3:00 am on August 16, 2014 on Talbot Street West in the Municipality of Leamington. She was charged with Impaired Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle and Having Care and Control of a Motor Vehicle – over 80 milligrams contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada and will be appearing in provincial court on September 4th, 2014 in Leamington.
Tammy POIRIER, 41 years of age of Windsor was arrested and charged with Dangerous Driving, Impaired Driving and Impaired Operation of a motor vehicle – over 80 milligrams contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada following a motor vehicle collision on Walker Road and North Talbot Road in the Municipality of Tecumseh on August 16th at 3:00 pm. She will be appearing in provincial court in Windsor on August 28th.
