Two Charged After Search Warrant Executed

(WHITEWATER REGION, ON) – On September 30, 2016 members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with the assistance of OPP’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Canine Unit, and Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in the Township of Whitewater Region. As a result, two adults from Whitewater Region were arrested and charged.

33 year old Tammy Lyn ETHIER is charged with the following CDSA offences:

Produce a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana

Possession of Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana

Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

She was also charged under the Tobacco Tax Act (TTA) with Possession of Unmarked Tobacco. She was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on October 25, 2016.

52 year old Edward FOX is charged with Produce a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana under the CDSA. He was held for a bail hearing and remains in custody until his next appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on October 18, 2016
