On September 10, 2014 at 9:13 p.m., the Guelph Police went to Neeve Street and Wellington Street for a two car collision. It is alleged that a 55-year-old Guelph male was driving his vehicle eastbound on Wellington approaching Neeve. At the same time, an 85-year-old Guelph male was driving westbound on Wellington approaching Neeve and they collided in the intersection. Both vehicles were completely demolished with an estimated total damage of $30,000. The 85-year-old was taken to hospital with chest pain and subsequently released with minor injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
