On January 20, 2014 at 3:35 p.m., the Guelph Police attended the intersection of Speedvale Avenue and Eramosa Road for a collision. Investigation alleges that a Hyundai with three occupants was travelling east on Speedvale Avenue. This vehicle made a left turn onto Eramosa Road in the path of a Chevrolet Impala being operated by a 48-year-old Guelph woman. Both vehicles collided within the intersection. A 34-year-old pregnant passenger had to be extricated from the Hyundai. She was taken to Guelph hospital with minor injuries.
Both vehicles were destroyed in the collision and the estimated value of damages exceeds $25,000. There were no other injuries reported in this collision.
