(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On April 30th, 2015 at approximately 3:50 p.m., members of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Springwater Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedics responded to a call from 2 individuals in a canoe who had become disoriented while canoeing in the Minesing Swamp area.
OPP now advise, with assistance our OPP Helicopter out of General Headquarter in Orillia that these two individuals are now safely on shore.
