Two Brown Leather Sofas and Snowblower Stolen In Break In

(EMBRUN, ON) –The Russell County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a Break and Enter and Theft in the Nation Municipality.

At approximately 10:50 am, March 17, 2016, Russell County OPP received a report of a break and enter and theft, advising that an unknown culprit(s) entered a residence in the Nation Municipality. Entry was gained by a basement window and the culprit(s) stole several items including:

a snowblower,

two brown leather sofas,

several long guns and

a grey Dodge Caravan. (The Dodge Caravan has since been recovered burnt in the City of Ottawa.)

The investigation is continuing.
