(Rockland, ON) On May 5th 2016, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau with the assistance of OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Russell County OPP executed a Search Warrant in the City of Rockland.
As a result of an investigation into a theft of electricity, two men have been arrested and charged.
Sixty Five (65) year old, Antoine JOMMA from Rockland, was arrested and is charged with:
Possession of a substance in Schedule 1 – Oxycodone
Theft of Electricity over $5000
Possession of a prohibited weapon –brass knuckles
Thrity Six (36) year old, Youssef JOMMA from Rockland, was arrested and is charged with:
Possession of a substance in Schedule 1 – Oxycodone
Theft of Electricity over $5000
Possession of a prohibited weapon –brass knuckles
Both accused men were released on a Promise To Appear and Officer in Charge Undertaking with conditions and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice of Ontario, L’Orignal, (ON) on June 8th 2016.
