(LAMBTON, ON) – On Monday July 13, 2015 at about 8:30 p.m. the Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the west bound 402 Highway at the Oil Heritage Road exit to investigate a single motor vehicle collision.
Upon arrival, the OPP discovered that a full size commercial tractor and trailer had been travelling on the 402 Highway in a westerly direction. The tractor and trailer had exited the off ramp for Oil Heritage Road; at which time the tractor and trailer struck the guard rail causing significant damage to the guard rail.
The 402 Highway and the off ramp remained open to vehicular traffic. The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to hospital. As a result of the OPP investigation; Albert T. BOOKER, 33-years-old of Georgina, Ontario has been charged with allegedly commit the offence of Careless Driving in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act.
