(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – On March 11, 2017, at approximately 10:35 p.m., a member of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) West Region (WR) Highway Enforcement Team (HET) conducted a traffic stop of an erratic driver travelling on Blue Forest Drive, in the City of London, Ontario.
Officers determined that the 42-year-old male driver of the motor vehicle (a grey Honda car) had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests.
As a result of the police investigation, Trevor JONES, from London, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is scheduled to answer the charges in a London, Ontario, court on April 25, 2017.
