Trevor GRIFFIN – Drunk Driving

(PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP, ON) – On November 13, 2014 at approximately 10:46 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Gore Road at Townline Road, Puslinch Township.

Officers investigated the male driver of a 2006 Mazda that entered the program. While speaking with the driver, police believed that he had consumed alcohol. A Roadside Screening Device test was administered which resulted in a fail.

The driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days as per statute.

Trevor GRIFFIN age 24 from Cambridge has been charged with Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 16, 2014 to answer to the charge.
