(TILLSONBURG, ON.) – On December 4, 2013 at approximately 11:20 am, Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a Trespass to Property Act call at Walmart located on Broadway Street in Tillsonburg regarding a known male who was trespassing.
The male party known to the security officer and police was seen leaving Walmart as OPP arrived at which time a suspect apprehension pursuit was initiated resulting in the arrest of 23 year old Dustin VANHAVERBEKE of Tillsonburg for the following Criminal Code offences:
Theft Under $5000 – Shoplifting
Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
The male is being held in custody pending a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock.
