(DRYDEN, ON) – On June 9, 2015 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Dryden Detachment officers received a report of a Mischief that occurred at the Amesdale Cemetery in Rowell Township. The cemetery grounds sustained extensive damage and will cost approximately $1200.00 to repair.
On July 2, 2015 Dryden OPP officers along with the assistance of the Northwest Region Crime Unit arrested and charged Trent LAPOINTE (20 years old) of Virden, Manitoba with Mischief Under $5000.00 contrary to Section 430(4) of the Criminal Code.
LAPOINTE was released by Police and will appear in court on July 27, 2015 to answer to the charge.
