(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – On March 16, 2016, at approximately 10:10 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a dangerous condition after a tree, that had collapsed during high wind conditions, pulled hydro wires down onto a house on Levitta Street, Flesherton, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. The tree, which had caught fire, caused damage to the home.
The Grey Highlands Fire Department and Hydro One attended the scene to deal with the situation. Levitta Street at Collingwood Street was closed temporarily for safety reasons.
No one was home at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.
