On Friday afternoon, members of the Owen Sound Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit and the Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at an apartment building on 9th Avenue East. Officers located a quantity of marihuana, marihuana oil, scales, packaging and cash in the residence. Two people were taken into custody.
A 31 year old Owen Sound man and a 29 year old Owen Sound woman have been charged with Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking. The man has been additionally charged with Possession of the Proceeds of Crime and Possession of Cannabis Resin. They were released to attend court on May 29, 2014.
