(Hawkesbury, ON) On the 27th of March, at 3:20 am, Constable Marc Lauzon and Constable Léger intercepted a white 2009 Nissan Versa during a RIDE checkpoint John Street, in the Town of Hawkesbury.
During the execution of the traffic stop, the passenger and driver were found in possession of illicit drugs. Close to $1300 of Cannabis (street value) was found and seized.
The driver, Victor CABEZON (39 yrs) of Kirkland, QC and Richard FALLOW (39 yrs) of Hawkesbury were charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) with section 4(1) Poss of a Schedule II substance-Cannabis Marihuana – over 30 grams.
CABEZON was also charged under the CDSA with section 4(1) Poss of a Schedule II substance- Cannabis resin – over 1gram.
Both are scheduled to appear in court on April 23rd in L’Orignal.
