(CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On February 28th, 2014 at approximately 2:30 p.m., a member of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police while monitoring traffic flow on Hwy #26 between Sunnidale Corners and 15/16 Side Road Sunnidale observed a motor vehicle traveling west bound at a high rate of speed.
This motor vehicle was stopped and a further investigation of the driver and motor vehicle revealed that he was in possession of a quantity of Cannabis Marihuana. When this driver was advised that he was under arrest for possession of drugs he resisted.
Charged with “Possession Schedule II – Cannabis Marihuana†and “Resist Peace Officer†is Edouard BAKISSI 56 years old from Collingwood Ontario. First appearance is April 15th, 2014 in Collingwood court.
