(Oro-Medonte, ON) – On March 19, 2016 at approximately 10:30 p.m. officers from the Barrie Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop of a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 12 in Warminster, ON.
While conducting their investigation, police found two male occupants along with a female passenger to be in possession of a quantity of illegal drugs.
Police have charged Jessy JOHNSTON (age 22) of Severn Township, ON with:
•Possession of Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana over 30 gram contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
• Drive motor vehicle – no licence contrary to the Highway traffic act
• Speeding contrary to the Highway traffic act
Ashton BULL (age 25) of WAUBAUSHENE, ON is charged with:
•Possession of Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana over 30 gram contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
Also charged is Kaitlyn FLETCHER (age 23) of Midland, ON with:
•Possession of Schedule II substance – Cannabis Marihuana over 30 gram contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
The accused parties are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on May 9, 2016 in Barrie, ON.
