(BROCKVILLE, ON.) – On the 13th of January 2014 officers from the Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police arrested and charged two men for being in possession of marihuana.
At about 1 pm officers were conducting routine traffic patrol on Highway 401 westbound in the Brockville area. As a result of a Highway Traffic Act violation, a Dodge Ram truck was stopped.
The investigation revealed a quantity of marihuana with an approximate street value of $30,000.00 and a quantity of cash.
Two males, 34 and 36 years of age from British Columbia were arrested and charged for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Possession of Property obtained by Crime.
A bail hearing is scheduled for the 14th of January 2014 at the Ontario Court Provincial Division in Brockville.+
