Two people are facing charges after a large quantity of marihuana was seized following a traffic stop in Renfrew. On November 10 at approximately 7:15pm a van was stopped on O’Brien Rd. Following the police investigation approximately 82 grams of marihuana, and cash were seized. Charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking are: Todd WHALEN-WHEELER 18 of Ottawa and Deanna LANDRY 20 of Pembroke. They were released on a promise to appear in court in Renfrew on December 15. Provincial Constable Hayley Chaplin investigated.
